Decided to split this up into three posts.

BACHELOR’S BASH 251209
What originally was a very random and unbachelorly walk through town became a mahjong session + even more random walk through CLARKE QUAY. Vnc/weize arrived prettaye early, setting up the mahjong set that doesn’t lack a qi tong :O MX/szh/Clarence bumped in soon after and we informally started mahjongingamajig.
What started as a normal game quickly descended into mahjongbibleresearching chaos as people tried to build random shizz like 绿一色, 小三元, 百万石, 清老头 and whoa someone almost got 九連宝灯. The only ones that materialised was 2x 海底撈月 and an almost 百万石. Think it went up to 830 thousand. By this time I think Yiren/Vanessa/Eisabess arrived as well.
Mahjong was unfortunately taken away in the afternoon and we resorted to random treasure hunting in my room (that turned up a lot of crap). Refreshed some singlish knowledge, played the infamous PATR, and random other ++guessing games. Dinner was expedited by rain and Vanessa/vnc left while the rest of us joined Bradford + Ansley (+ Ian later) at Clarke Quay.
Can’t really recall what happened at the beginning. We just walked around one side of the river I think? Up till the bridge where we took a group photo. Moved down towards the square where we saw random clubbers and Clarence and I decided to say MERRY CHRISTMAS to random people that we walked past. Bumped into the Ministry of Bells performance near the fountain, but it didn’t start yet, so camwhoring became issue of the moment with the fountains.
Went a bit further up and saw the Turkish ice-cream man entertain a crowd with random trix. The MoB people were there suddenly too, guessed that they were starting some pre-event procession. Was quite amazing cause I’ve never heard bells go like that. The performance turned out to be quite boring since singing wasn’t involved, so we zao-ed towards the other side of the river.
Then came the random-boat-wishing where we shouted MERRY CHRISTMAS to every boat that went past us on the river. Was really cute to see some of the reactions, from the big boats to the tiny luxury-dinner ones, from locals to foreigners.
Went a further bit down to a bigger space and sat and chatted for the rest of the time. Bradford decided it wasn’t classy enough so he went with Ansley + Ian to Starbucks. :O Bummed out at 2245.

XMAS PARTY 291209
(No photos since I haven’t gone to Eisabess to get them yet :x)
Met vnc/Vanessa/Eisabess near lunchtime. Prata was surprisingly filling. Weize was still at the Amaaaazing Race and SZH went there straight instead. So, bummed over to Mark’s place (crossing the road and back) to discover some people were already there. Mahjong became topic of the moment again as some of us settled down at thar tablez.
Things progressed quite quietly as more and more people came. Bags and presents started filling the house :O and at some moment some of us decided to go spam fwisbee. Clearly all of us have turned into bushes for the time being, as digging for the fwisbee in the bushes became frequent. Beatrice and Vanessa joined us afterwards (armed with a CAMERA(Y)) and played moar.
Went back and some of them continued the mahjong spreeeee. Marie was reading foxtrot, Lisheng was reading palms. And Rachel ended up on the calorieburningthingamajig. Dinner came soon after, along with all the Amaaaazing race people and promptly ate.
Night wasn’t much different, the mahjong people continued, while Peiying/Vanessa/I decided that the porch lights were making us sleepy so we moved out. Joel stunned us with his new lazerpewpew that could shine into the sky :O
Then it was SECRET SANTA where we saw lots of random gifts of different wrappings (or lack thereof) and sizes being passed out. I hope everyone’s happy(Y) Peiying gave us all candles afterwards and we made wishes outside the house with them. Peace.
Then after it was time to leave. Packing up+cleaning up+bus back to MRT+MRT back to home. At the station, Clarence/Weize/I suddenly remembered that we still have our Santa caps that we didn’t wear :O So we decided to wear them along with Vanessa on the MRT back home. That turned out to be awesum cause a jap/kor family decided to take photos with us on the MRT (cause it’s so “festive”) and we had the pewpewhonour of taking a photo with the THREE KIDZ! :D Made my day.
Jurong people reached jurong, where Yuying Eisabess shared a feeder bus home, I saw Vanessa and Marie till they were fetched home and Weize sent vnc back to Jurong West. Peiying was alone back to Sembawang but she was okay(Y).
Clarence Eisabess Lisheng&Shiqi Peiying SZH Vanessa Vanice
To the people who’ve been special that day: thanks a lot.
To the frame-holders: A picture speaks a thousand words. And more (:

SHERLOCKHOLMES&hisgayWATSON 311209
Alvin was sadly kinda sold out (or with terrible seating positions) about one whole HOUR before the movie started. And the queue was ji short. Food court also ji empty. :O Ended up watching SH instead, which was pretty damn amusing. Although I’ve read the book before it’s still quite good a watch. The gay tension between Holmes and Watson was best(Y).
After the movie, Vnc/MX/I had to leave so that’s all I’ve heard from them then. Spent the night playing pool with Wenshi (haven’t played for AGES) and realise my breaking has improved. And Mambo has really nice tables and balls. This went on until 1130 where I met Benchoi/Jiefu/Shuyuan for…

LONG WALK II 311209 – 010110
Wombat check. Stores check. Jerry cans loaded. It’s time for LONG WALK II.
Met up outside KAP, had a quick supper and off we went (Wenshi went home).
First stretch was KAP -> Serene. We passed a time-tunnel that marked the new year itself :O Took a quick picture at HCI, talked about random coro events and eventually stopped at Serene for bio break.
Next up we decided to bash through botanical gardens to reach Tanglin. Saw a couple of groups chilling out at night there. The blue moon guided us through.
Orchard became the next item and we went past lots of Christmas decor that was still up. And plenty of traffic police. Tons. They were literally swarming the place, stacking at junctions. Soon reached Plaza Sing, and decided to go Esplanade. Not a bad decision, we were pleasantly surprised with a river display of floating balls that promptly stopped soon after we reached o.o
That’s Bench with his field pack (YES FIELD PACK). Went the wrong way towards Marina Barrage, ended up at the start of a highway. Then backtracked and went on the right way. But OMG none of us knew that Marina Barrage was stuck in the middle of a construction blitz and we agonized an hour’s walk past random sleeping workers and construction sites to our destination. I crashed out upon reaching, unfortunately it was in the middle of an exercise conducted by the 5th Mosquito Brigade of Marina. Was promptly assaulted but I didn’t care. Slept anyway.
Woke up near sunrise and we took a photo (against a very jarred skyline):
Peace really. Though I apologise to Bench if Shuyi/Shuyuan/Jiefu/I kept talking about WoW :x
